In the early 20th century, Oscar Barnack an employee of Leitz Optics in Wetzlar, Germany took the film used to make motion pictures, turned it on its side, and ushered in a revolution in photography. In 1925, 100 years ago as of the time of this writing, Leitz Optics released the Leica 1 (Leitz camera). In the decades that followed, the Leica’s iconic craftsmanship has made it revered amongst photographers. With our leather camera cases, we honor that legacy as we reimagine the legendary ever-ready case that cocooned so many Leica cameras over the decades. We design our exclusive cases for Leica M and Leica III (Barnack) cameras with unwavering passion, merging traditional excellence with modern innovation.
